Lagoon 380 – 2004

L’ile du Papillon is a Lagoon 380 owner’s model from 2004 (never chartered). She was initially owned by an experienced and meticulous Frenchman who sailed her over to French Polynesia via Panama canal in 2017. She was lightly used for 5 years by a locally based Frenchman in Raiatea. In 2023 she was bought by a retired couple from the UK who invested much time and effort in upgrading her for long term liveaboard cruising life.

The current UK owners changed to Polish registry and are currently insured with a French/Swiss insurance. Polish registration is suitable for anyone with a valid passport (from any country).

The boat has benefited from recent improvements including:

• New 3x 200Ah service batteries (2023) and starter batteries (2024)
• Meticulously maintained engines: exchangers cleaned in 2023, Saildrive seals replaced, updated overhauls, less than 3000 hours
• Tohatsu 9.8 2T outboard engine replaced in 2023
• 3000W inverter installed in 2023
• Liferaft 6pax SeaSafe replaced in 2023
• 70L/h Rainman watermaker installed in 2023
• Solar panel (780W fixed + 450 Flexible) installed in 2023 + MPPT Victron controller 70A
• Standing rigging replaced in 2017
