L’Instant 2 is Nautitech 44 Open number 21, the owner’s version particularly well equipped for long voyages, both in terms of sails and comfort features. After crossing the Atlantic and sailing for several months in the Caribbean, the owner couple had to part with her with regret. They are now in Panama, the ideal starting point for discovering the San Las Islands, the Perlas Islands, the Galapagos Islands and the Marquesas Islands, before heading for the Tuamotus Islands and the Society Archipelago to discover Polynesia and, if you feel like it, Fiji, Tonga and Australia…

With the 44 Open, Nautitech has achieved the perfection of its DNA: a fast, seaworthy boat for demanding owners who want to sail far. The hydrodynamics of the hulls have been specially designed to enhance glide at all speeds. The stepped hulls give more volume above the waterline, while the inverted bows limit pitching and the fine water inlets guarantee a good course upwind. The 2 aft bars are synonymous with feeling under sail. The rig is slender. The instant 2 has a great wardrobe: gaff mainsail, self-tacking solent, code zero, gennaker and parasailor!

The interior design is innovative and clearly designed for families and couples, a far cry from charter catamarans: a central work surface is the ideal place to meet to discuss the route and the weather or to drink a coffee while on watch, while the sofa area to port is ideal for relaxing sheltered from the elements. It faces the chart table oriented in the direction of travel. To starboard, the elegant and functional galley communicates perfectly with the cockpit and its large table.

The port hull is dedicated to the owners, with a beautiful double cabin, a sofa area and a very large bathroom with WC separate from the shower. The starboard hull offers 2 double cabins, each with its own private bathroom.
